Coordinators & Statistical Analysts required in STATE DISASTER MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY, PUNJAB

There are several vacancies in State Disaster Management Authority, Punjab. The details for the candidates are given below :

1) District Response Center Professionals (RCPS) :

Number of vacancies : 30 (GEN-15, SC-07, BC-03, ESM/Ward of ESM-03, ESM SC, sports and adventure sports person-01, handicapped-01).

Salary : Rs.16000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Qualification :

i) Candidate who are willing to apply should be B.E./B.TECH in computer science/ post graduate in information technology/ disaster management/ statistics/ disaster management/ remote sensing or equivalent from recognized university/institute (minimum 50% marks).

ii) Candidate should be good in computer application and in information technology.

iii) Candidate should have working knowledge in ERDAS, AUTO-CAD Map, Arc GIS, all of these carry weightage in the selection procedure.

Age limit (as on 01.01.2011) : 21 to 35 years.

Note : after the successful training, the salary would be hiked to Rs.20,000/- p.m. Later on 10% annual increment will be granted on performance.

2) Disaster Management Coordinator : (DMCs) :

Number of vacancies : 11 (GEN-06, SC-02, BC-01, ESM/Ward of ESM-01, Handicapped-01).

Salary : Rs.16000/- p.m. (consolidated)

Qualification :

Candidate should have degree in mass communication/ journalism with minimum 50% marks from recognized university/ institute.

Age limit (as on 01.01.2011) : 21 to 35 years.

3) Accountant :

Number of vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.16000/- p.m.

Qualification :

i) Candidate should have degree of B.Com with minimum 50% marks.

ii) Candidate should have the knowledge of tally software and accounting.

4) Statistical Analysts :

Number of vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.16000/- to Rs.20,000/-

Qualification :

Candidate should hold the M.Sc degree in statistics with IT proficiency.

5) Web Designer :

Number of vacancies : 01

Salary : Rs.20,000/-

Qualification :

Candidate should hold the B.TECH degree in computer with diploma in Dot-Net.

Note : Candidate must have passed Punjabi up to metric level.
