Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Engineering Entrance Test (IIT-JEE)


Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Engineering Entrance Test (IIT-JEE) is on the top of all the engineering entrance test. This test is conducted for the admission in IIT's i.e. Indian Institute of Technology's. IIT's are the most reputed institutes of india, the quality of education in IIT's are very high and also the faculty is very educated and helpful to provide you best education.
The exam for the entrance in IIT's is called IIT-JEE. This is one of the hard exam to pass, this exam is for the candidates who want to take admission in Engineering degree ( B.TECH). There are various streams provided by the IIT's to do your study.
There are six IIT's who take admission through this test :
i) IIT Delhi
ii) IIT Guwahati
iii) IIT Kanpur
iv) IIT Madras
v) IIT kharagpur
vi) IIT Roorkee

IIT-JEE Eligibility Criteria :
Before applying for the test, candidate must check his/her eligibility criteria. Here we can provide you some eligibility's, but you also go through the IIT website for latest eligibility's. The eligibility are as under :
i) Candidate must pass the qualifying examination (class 12th) from the CBSE in (Physics, Chemistry and Maths), state board or recognized board  of India and foreign.
ii) You can give the test only twice in the consecutive year.
iii) Candidate must have the 60% marks (aggregate) in qualifying examination ( 55% in case of SC/ST/PD).
But now CBSE and some other board provide the Grades rather then marks, so, in this case you have to obtain the certificate from the board in which your equivalent marks are specified and submit this certificate at the time of counselling of IIT's.
iv) Maximum age of candidate in case of GE/OBC is 24 years and for the SC/SC/PD the maximum age is go to 29 years.

Syllabus for IIT-JEE :
The syllabus for the IIT-JEE test is very wide. Almost all things you study about in class 11th and 12th (PCM) is comes in this test. So if you want to do well in this test than you have to study from the beginning i.e. from the class 11th and also you to study deeply every topic because many questions comes in the IIT are from the deeper side of the topic.
Here is the syllabus of the IIT-JEE test:

The sections that are comes in the exam are : physics, chemistry, and maths, these are the three sections comes in the exam. There is also a negative marking for each wrong answer so, you have to prepare yourself for this. The best way to gain the maximum marks is leave the questions whose answers you don't know, please don't make any guess!

Exam Pattern :
IIT-JEE test is an objective test, you have to darken the ovals provide in the OMR sheet. There are two questions papers on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The duration of each test is 3 hours.


Application fees :
The application fees for the candidates want to take test are :
i) for SC/ST/PD/Female candidates is Rs500/-
ii) and for other candidates it is Rs.1000/-

How to apply:
There are two methods by which a candidate can submit application form, these methods are online or offline. A candidate submit their application fees through Internet are by DD and challan.
i) Online Method : In online method you should have the Internet connection. After that you have to go any IIT website (given below) and follow the instructions provided in the website.
you can submit application fees on these websites through debit and credit cards of the major banks OR you can also obtain the challan from the major banks.
ii) Offline Method : The another method is an offline method. In this you can obtain the application form from the major branches of the selected banks by paying the application fees which is listed above.
