1) Department Name : Management
Post Name : Assistant Managers
Number of vacancies : 06
Pay scale : Rs.20,600-46,500/-
Qualification :
i) Two years full time post graduate degree (or equivalent) in Management/ Business Administration from institutes/ universities and colleges/ deemed universities duly recognized by AICTE/UGC/AIU.
ii) The minimum percentage required is a 60% of equivalent CGPA/OGPA.
Age limit (as on 01.01.2011) : Upper age limit is 27 years relax able by 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST and for PWD the relaxation is over and above the upper age limit i.e. 5 years for general category and 10 years for SC/ST.
2) Department Name : Naval Architects
Post Name : Assistant Manager
Number of vacancies : 04
Salary : Rs.20,600-46,500/-
Qualification :
i) Candidate who willing to apply should have four year full time degree in Ocean Engineering and Naval Architect OR dual degree in Naval Architect and Ocean Engineering.
ii) Minimum percentage should be 60% of equivalent CGPA/OGPA.
3) Department Name : Finance and Accounts
Number of vacancies : 08
Salary : Rs.20,600-46,500/-
Qualification :
Candidate should have cleared CA/ICWA.
Application Procedure :
i) Candidates are required to apply online through website www.shipindia.com
ii) Application send by any other means/ mode will not be entertained.
iii) OBC/General candidates are required to furnish Demand Draft of Rs.250/- payable to The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. drawn on any Nationalized/ scheduled Bank payable at Mumbai.
iv) Candidate should write the registration number, full name, full address and post applied on the reverse of the Demand Draft.
v) SC/ST/PWD candidates are not required to send in Demand Draft
vi) The print out of the application form and demand draft (if applicable) must send to P.O. Box 2091, Chennai-600020 by ordinary post.
vii) The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and PWD categories are required to furnish a copy of caste certificate/ disability certificate.
Selection Procedure :
i) Candidates who clear all the eligibility criteria like qualification, age etc. will have to appear for an objective type competitive written test based on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, domain knowledge.
ii) Written test will be held on 11 September 2011.
