Number of posts : 47 posts (Brass Band - 32, Pipe Band - 15)

Pay Scale : The pay scale for this job is Rs.5200-20200/- + grade pay Rs.1900/-

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2011) : The age limit is minimum 18 years and maximum 23 years.

Educational Qualification (as on 01/01/2011) : i ) The minimum educational qualification is 10+2 (Relaxation in qualification as per government rule).

ii) Height : 5'7"

iii) Chest (only for male) : 33" (with expansion of one and half inch). (Relaxation as per government rule)

Application Fee : The application fee of Rs.100/- in the form of Demand Draft in favor of Section Officer/ Accounts, Sector-9, UT/Police Headquarters payable at Chandigarh.
