Vacancy/ Recruitment for Credit Officer in UNION BANK OF INDIA

There are several vacancies for Credit Officer in Union Bank of India. The details for the candidates are given below :

Name of the post : Credit Officer

Number of Posts : 450 (UR-216, SC-68, ST-37, OBC-129)

Scale/Grade : MMGS III

Age Limit : Minimum 21 and Maximum 40 years ( relaxation for reserved category as per government rules)

Qualification :
i) The candidate who are willing to apply must have degree of recognized university or equivalent with 60% marks in the final year of degree course (55% for reserved category candidates).
ii) For candidates who have acquired professional qualification like C.A/ I.C.W.A/ C.S after completing class XIIth without completing graduation, the requirement of minimum qualification of graduation will be waived. Such candidates however, should have cleared the inter exam of C.A/ I.C.W.A/ C.S course in maximum 2 attempts and the final maximum 3 attempts.

A certificate for having  completed a course in Computer Awareness & Office Automation (In computer Basics, DOS, Office, Internet, E-mail) for duration of minimum 60 hours from reputed computer training institute. This requirement will be waived in case of those graduates/ Post Graduates where Computer Awareness & Knowledge was part of their curriculum at the Undergraduate/ Post Graduate level.

Qualifications such as C.A/ I.C.W.A/ C.S/ M.B.A/ JAIIB/ CAIIB/ Diploma in Banking and Finance (IIBF) or from AFC Institute of Management and Technology (AIMTEC) will be an added advantage.

Work Experience :
The candidate should be in MMGS-II or equivalent i.e. one scale above the entry level scale applicable for Officer Cadre. He posses of minimum 5 years of working experience as an officer in a PSU Bank or reputed Private bank of which at least 3 years as Credit Processing Officer and should have sound knowledge of Banking Industry and Financial Markets.

Selection Procedure :
The selection is through a Written Test (Online/Offline) and G.D and Personal Interview to be decided by the competent authority.

Probation Period :
The selected candidate will be on probation for a period of 2 years (24 months) of active service from the date of his/ her joining the bank.

Service Bond :
The selected candidate will be required to execute a Service Bond undertaking to serve the bank for a period of 3 years or to pay the bank a sum of Rs.200000/- should he/ she leave the bank before the completion of three years service period.

Application Fees :
Rs.300/- for General and OBC Candidates (Rs.50/- for other candidates) to be deposited in any branch of Union Bank Of India in cash by with the application challan.

Test of Reasoning : 50 questions carrying 50 marks
Test of Quantitative Aptitude : 50 questions carrying 50 marks
Test of General Awareness with special reference to Banking Sector : 50 questions carrying 50 marks
Test of English Language : 50 questions carrying 50 marks
Test of Computer Knowledge : 50 questions carrying 50 marks

Total Time : 2hours and 45 minutes
Total Questions : 250
Total Marks : 250

How to Apply
The candidate who are willing to apply must apply online on the bank website. After applying candidate have to take the print out of the application and keep it safe with yourself.
