There are several vacancies for the post of Engineers in Indian Oil Corporation Limited Through GATE-2012. The details for the candidates are given below :
Name of the Post : Engineers/ Graduate Apprentice Engineers (GAEs)
Number of Posts :
225 in discipline of Mechanical/ Chemical/ Civil/ Electrical/ Metallurgy/ Instrumentation/ Computer Science and Information Technology.
Pay Scale :
Graduate Engineers Trainee for one year training will be paid Rs.20000/- p.m and Engineers/Officers Rs.24900/- p.m
Note : After successful completion of training GAEs are appointed as engineers.
Age Limit :
Age limit is maximum 26 years (relaxation in age as per government rules).
Educational Qualification :
i) Candidates who are willing to apply should be Bachelor in Engineering Degree with minimum 65% marks ( only passing marks for SC/ST/PH candidates ) from recognized Indian University/ Institute.
ii) Candidates who are in their final year of degree may also apply.
How to Apply :
The candidates who are willing to apply must first apply for the GATE-2012. After receiving the registration number of GATE-2012 printed on the admit card of GATE - 2012, the candidates apply online for the Indian Oil Corporation Of India.
