Applications are invited for the post of Constables (Male and Female) in Punjab Police (District Cadre). There are 3726 posts for Male and 2000 posts for Female in various District of Punjab State.

Pay Scale : The pay scale is Rs.5910-20200/- + Grade Pay of Rs.2000/-
Age Limit : The age as on 01/01/2011 minimum age is 18 years and maximum is 25 years.
Educational Qualification : The candidate should done 10+2 in any discipline or equivalent.
How to Apply : The applying format for Male and Female candidate is different. The procedure is defined below :
1) For Male Candidate : The fully filled application form in the prescribed format in case of male candidates must reach The Chairman, District Recruitment Board (_____) (Name of the District For which the Candidate applies) with necessary documents.
2) For Female Candidate : In case of female candidate the fully filled application form in the prescribed format must send to The Chairman-cum-IGP Zone Recruitment Board For Female (___) (Name of the District for the applicant applies) with all necessary documents.
