Technologies : Wireline, Access, Packet cable, DOCSIS, L2/L3 Datacom, IPv6
Skills required : The candidate must have the following skills :
- Good programming experience using C/C++
- Experience with Network Programming, TCP/IP, UDP, Sockets and related.
- Proficient in multi purpose and multi-threaded programming.
- Networking protocols.
- Development experience in Datacom product- feature development.
- Layer 3 protocols, OSPF/RIP/IGMP/ICMP/IPx
- IPv6 technology such as IPv6-ND, PD, DHCPv6
- DOCSIS specifications, Packet Cable specification, DOCSIS 3.0 features, such as Channel Bonding, Multicast etc.
- Strong Debugging capabilities and exposure to debugging and Testing tools.
Platform/OS : Any Real Time Operating System (RTOS) and VxWorks, Integrity OS (preferred).
Debugging tools : Multi, Tornado, GDB, GreenHills probe, Ethereal
Experience level : 3 to 7 years
Educational qualification : B.E in EC or CS or M.Tech
